About Us
Amazing Women’s Shelter Inc. is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women and families in crisis.
While we are actively working toward securing a permanent shelter facility, we currently provide the following services, including clothing drive/drop offs, emergency resource distribution, referrals, advocacy, and community support programs throughout the Buffalo area.
Our Services
Emergency Clothing & Disaster Response Support
Amazing Women’s Shelter Inc. provides mobile emergency clothing and basic needs support during extreme weather events and community emergencies. In coordination with local partners, our outreach helps reduce hypothermia risk and supports individuals and families experiencing displacement, homelessness, or crisis situations.
Future Goal:
Establish a safe, permanent shelter facility for women and children experiencing crisis.
Transparency & Compliance Statement
Amazing Women’s Shelter Inc. does not currently operate a residential shelter facility. All services at this time are non-residential and outreach based. Any future shelter operations will be launched in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Our services at work
Collect
We gather the essential resources women’s, men’s, & kids need to start over—clothing, hygiene items, food, and community donations. We also collect stories, needs, and goals to better understand every woman’s journey.
Assemble
We design tailored support systems for women navigating crisis. Through advocacy, referrals, and empowerment programs, we help women access the tools needed to rebuild and thrive.
Deliver
We support women on their path to stability with dignity and care. Through compassionate guidance and support services, we help foster hope, healing, and long-term empowerment.
